Our Staff

The staff at the University of Northern Iowa Counseling Center is deeply committed to providing exceptional, student-centered care that aligns with our mission, vision, and values. Our team, consisting of psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, mental health therapists, counseling interns, practicum counselors, and support staff, work tirelessly to create a safe and supportive space where students feel valued, heard, and connected. We empower students to overcome challenges, build resilience, and reach their academic and personal potential by fostering a sense of belonging within the community. Guided by the core values of empathy, compassion, and accessibility, we offer evidence-based care tailored to each student's unique needs, ensuring that mental health services are accessible to all.
