Let's Talk

What is "Let's Talk"?

Let's Talk

Let’s Talk is a confidential space for support and problem solving with a trained graduate student. The purpose of this program is to offer students a relaxed, informal space to discuss their concerns and well-being. Located in the UNI Counseling Center, students are able to meet with a graduate student who can provide them with resources, referrals, or to just offer a safe space for support. Students can address a variety of concerns, including stress, academic concerns, relationships, or other life challenges. It's an accessible, confidential service that allows students to receive advice, coping strategies, and resources tailored to their individual needs. "Let's Talk" serves as a bridge to more in-depth counseling services, helping students feel more comfortable seeking ongoing support when necessary. This service is free for all UNI students and operates on a first come, first-served basis.
