About
UNI Psychiatric and Counseling Services offer a range of mental health support designed to help students navigate the challenges of academic life and personal well-being. Services typically include individual counseling, group therapy, psychiatric assessments, and medication management. Students can access support for issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, trauma, and life transitions. The center also offers workshops and resources to help promote mental wellbeing. A confidential, compassionate, non-judgmental environment is prioritized to ensure students feel comfortable seeking help. Additionally, the center provides crisis intervention and referrals to off-campus providers when necessary.
